This is a customer facing position that is particularly important to the image and reputation of Braymiller Market. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately with customers and all other team members. The job duties include the following:

• Familiar with food products and applications including seasonal items, sources of origin, pricing, and availability.
• Filling displays and keeping them clean and organized for the best presentation.
• Operation of Point-of-Sale system and scales related to the sales process.
• Math skills – able to do simple arithmetic without the use of a mechanical device.
• Accurately handle cash, credit, EBT, gift card, and wellness card transactions including sales and refunds.
• Identify customers that need assistance and find a solution to meet their needs.
• Identify suspicious activity and report it to the supervisor.
• Taking and filling customer orders over the phone or other electronic means.
• Identify sales opportunities to increase profitability.

Qualifications for Retail Associate

• 0-2 years customer service experience, previous grocery experience a plus
• Able to lift items up to 30 pounds
• Physically able to position products on shelves of varying heights
• Physically able to stand and move around the store during shift, subject to scheduled break
• Able to work during all store hours including some holiday

These positions work directly with our wholesale customers that are primarily made up of independent local restaurant owners and staff. Attention to detail is required to maintain customer service and quality standards. The job duties include:

• Knowing all inventory products, pack sizes, and locations to fill customer orders efficiently.
• Keeping inventory properly rotated and organized.
• Able to handle more than one order at a time while maintaining accuracy.
• Filling the retail displays as needed
• Loading and unloading in-bound and out-bound trucks manually and with mechanical assistance. Prior formal forklift training experience a plus.
• Moving product safely through the store
• Breaking down and repackaging wholesale products into retail packaging
• Trimming product efficiently to maximize yield
• Follow all food handling safety requirements
• Able to pass forklift safety training requirements

Qualifications for Wholesale Associate

• 0-2 years warehouse experience
• Able to lift items that are more than 50 pounds
• Physically able to position products on shelves of varying heights
• Physically able to stand and move around the store during shift subject to scheduled break
• Able to work during all store hours including some holidays
• Able to bend and lift objects from the floor.
• Able to use steps/ladders to gain access to material handling equipment and trucks
• Able to safely operate a forklift (&/or other equipment per above)

These positions are customer facing and require a high level of customer service. The candidate must be responsive to customer needs/requests with clear, concise, accurate, knowledgeable communication. The job duties include the following:

• Knowledgeable of all inventory items, availability, and pricing.
• Keep display cases stocked, rotated, organized, and clean
• Maintain highest levels of food safety in accordance with state guidelines.
• Efficiently produce customer orders accurately.
• Suggest additional items to customers to increase sale
• Operate scales and slicing equipment safely.
• Follow recipes with a high level of accuracy to maintain consistency.
• Maintain a clean work area

Qualifications for Deli/Meat/Seafood/Bakery Associate

• 0-2 years deli or food service experience
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Physically about to stand and move around the store during shift subject to schedule break
• Able to work during all store hours including some holidays
• Slicing and cooking positions require candidate to be 18 years or older per state regulations.

These positions are customer facing and require a high level of customer service. The candidate must be responsive to customer needs/requests with clear, concise, accurate, knowledgeable communication. The job duties include the following:

• Knowledgeable of all inventory items, availability, and pricing.
• Keep display cases stocked, rotated, organized, and clean
• Maintain highest levels of food safety in accordance with state guidelines.

• Follow recipes with a high level of accuracy to maintain consistency.
• Maintain a clean work area

These positions will be responsible for loading and unloading commercial trucks (under 16,000 lbs, CDL not required) with and without mechanical assistance. The individuals will represent Braymiller Market while operating company owned vehicles and directly with our wholesale customers. Smoking of anything is prohibited in company owned vehicles, around any products for delivery, or on company property. Job duties are as follows:

• Knowledgeable of all products inventoried.
• Maintain highest levels of food safety and handling in accordance with state guidelines.
• Respectful communication with other team members and customers.
• Proper maintenance of company owned equipment and vehicles.
• Safety first.
• Follow routes as provided.

Qualifications for Driver

• Valid US drivers license without any infractions or suspensions within the last 7 years
• Minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
• CDL not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 or more pounds to shoulder height. Able to work during all store hours including some holidays
